Summer Housing 2012

Applications for Summer Housing are now available. Click here to print off the application.

Applications must be received by April 27 in order to be guaranteed Summer Housing. Applications received after April 27 will be approved and processed as space is available.

Please note the following:

Single Room Limitations: We are expecting a large number of summer housing requests this year. As such, the number of available single rooms for summer housing may be limited. Please be sure to have a roommate included in your Summer Housing Application or one may be assigned to you.

Bathroom Renovation Project: This summer we will be conducting renovation work in the bathroom areas of Guild/Memorial Halls. This will require students moving from one building to the other about half way through the summer. Dates of the construction and resulting moves are being determined. This will also mean construction-related noises in the complex as well as construction staging areas outside the building.

Laundry Service Transition: The University will be transitioning the Residence Halls from our current laundry vender (MacGray) to a new laundry vender. This will mean that there may be limited or no laundry services in Guild Memorial Hall from May 22 - June 1 as the old machines are removed and new machines are installed.

Please contact our office with any questions.

Online Room Change & Single Room Request

For returning students whom wish to request a room change or single room for the 2012-2013 academic year may do so by selecting the web link below.

Please be aware of the following items:

You must have selected a room assignment for the Fall 2012 in order to make a room change or single room request. If you have not selected a room for the Fall 2012, then contact the Office of Residential Life for a housing assignment before completing the online form.

Make Sure that your roommate(s) (REQUESTED OR CURRENT) also submits a room change request form.
ROOMMATE REQUESTS MUST BE MUTUAL, and on file from all roommates involved in the room change request before a change request can be processed.

We will be processing the room change requests in three cohort groups.  Each cohort group will be determined by the date the request was submitted.  Requests submitted by APRIL 15, 2012, will be placed in the first cohort group, priority going to those individual/groups with the highest number of completed credit hours.  The second cohort group will be composed of the requests submitted by JUNE 1, 2012, priority going to those individual/groups with the highest number of completed credit hours. The third cohort group will be composed of the requests submitted by JULY 13, 2012, priority going to those individual/groups with the highest number of completed credit hours.

Requests will be kept on file in the Office of Residential Life and processed throughout the spring and summer as space becomes available until July 30, 2012, at which time all outstanding request forms will be discarded. Any student who still desires an assignment change after this date will be required to file a new change request form. Requests filed beginning August 20, 2012 will be accepted, but changes will not be processed until the third week of Fall semester classes.

ROOM CHANGE & SINGLE ROOM REQUESTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.
