Fall Meeting of the Indiana Section of the MAA: The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science was represented by 10 faculty and 3
students at the Fall Meeting of the Indiana section of the Mathematical Association
of America, held at the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, October 22.

Patrick Sullivan, Associate Professor of Mathematics, is the Chair of the section for 2011-12.

Kelly Jabbusch, Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics, gave the presentation "Positivity for toric Varieties".

David Chapmen, Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics, gave the presentation "On Arithmetic Equivalence: An Algebraic Approach".

Hugh Gong, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, gave the presentation "Closed-form of PDEs with Stochastic Volatility".

Ken Luther, Associate Professor of Mathematics, and Daniel Maxin, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, moderated sessions.
