DETAILS FOR THE FIELD MUSEUM TRIP FINALIZED

From the President of the VU Biology Club:

"At our meeting this past Wednesday, the final details for the Chicago Trip were finalized.  We voted to go to the Field Museum on December 6th.  For those who have never been, here is a a link to their website: http://www.fieldmuseum.org

We will be leaving Neils on December 6th at 9:00 am, so you would have to be there at least by 8:55 or before.  We will then drive to the Dune Park train station, where our train to Chicago leaves at 9:41 and arrives at Millennium Station at 11:00.  From there, we will most likely walk to the museum.  The Field is open until 5:00 pm.

There are two choices for Admission:
-The Gold Pass entitles you entry into The Aztec World, Nature Unleashed OR Underground Adventure, plus SUE, Evolving Planet, and Inside Ancient Egypt as well as exhibitions on many different cultures, mammals, birds, gems, minerals, and plants!
(With ID)........$19.00
-General Admission entitles you entry into the Museum, which includes SUE, Evolving Planet, The Ancient Americas, and Inside Ancient Egypt as well as exhibitions on many different cultures, mammals, birds, gems, minerals, and plants!
Students (With ID)........$11.00
You are free to choose how much you wish to spend.  Don't forget that a round trip train ticket costs $11.00 ($5.50 each way).

We have options for train times back, so we can see how long we wish to stay when we get there.  The options we have are as follows:
Train/Departs from Millenium/Arrives at Dune Park
511 02:00PM 03:17PM
513 04:00PM 05:17PM
515 06:00PM 07:17PM
517 08:00PM 09:17PM

We are very excited for this trip, so lets make it a success! Feel free to invite your friends as well! If you are able to go, I need you to email me the following:
-Your name
-Whether you would be able and willing to drive to the train station.  If you are, please note how many passengers you can take.
Also, if your plans change and you are no longer able to join us, it would be greatly appreciated if you emailed me as well.

The deadline to let me know you are going is DECEMBER 3rd, which is also the date of our last Bio Club Meeting of the semester, at chapel break in Neils 224.  You should try to make this meeting, as we will be planning options for next semester's activities, as well as eating delicious pizza. :) "
