BIOLOGY CLUB

Watch this space! Activities for Fall Semester, 2008 will appear here!

Second & Third Fall Semester River Restorations are Scheduled!

The Biology Club will help with river restoration projects on both Sunday, September 21 and Sunday, September 28.  The projects involves stabilizing an eroding bank by placing tree root wads and installing lunker structures (fish habitat).  If you want to see and even improve beautiful rivers, this would be a great opportunity for you!  We will likely leave the Neils Science Center at 8:30 AM on each of those days, but check back here for the exact departure times as the dates draw near.  Expect to spend the entire day on the river, returning home before dark.  These projects are great fun, and you will be "putting biology into service!"

On Friday, September 5th the good folks in the Neils Science Center held the annual fall picnic at Kirchoff Park. Thanks to the Chem Club for organizing!  All members of the of the Bio Club who attended had a great time, had fun, and ate plenty of burgers (meat and veggie), hot dogs, potato salad, desserts and much, much more!  No one should have left hungry!

The Eboard will be meeting weekly on Wednesdays during Chapel Break.
General meetings for all of the members will be monthly, and members will be informed  via email of the exact dates and times of the meetings.
